We looking for passionate, newly qualified graduate with Diploma / Bachelors / Honours / Masters / Doctorate degree in BSc / BEng / BCom / BIT, majoring in Computer Science, Computer and Software Engineering, Information Technology or Informatics.
Passion for technology don’t always come with degree — if you have portfolio of technology work you done and can show us, we may also consider you.
If you have vision for how software can solve everyday problem, make world better place, and you actually tried to do something about it — then you exactly who we looking for.
As BBD grad, you must meet these requirements:
- You must be deeply involve with technology and coding, more than just your formal studies
- Must be newly qualified graduate from recognised university, or hold certification from recognised learning programme
- Must have high academic average
- Must be passionate about building software and finding creative solution to problem and bug
How much can I earn as BBD graduate?
University graduate joining Software Engineering track in engineering and computer science field earn starting salary from R40 000. Business Analysis graduate earn starting salary between R30 000 and R35 000. Exceptional academic result may be consider when offer is made.

Being on BBD’s Grad Programme
BBD Grad Programme help you close the gap between what you learn at university and what you need to succeed in the industry. When you join the Grad Programme, you start working on client team from Day 1, while also building your technical knowledge through different Level Ups during the year and after.
You learn first-hand how to break and fix things, work hard, and have fun alongside senior mentor and peers. Our graduate tell us they learn more in first 8 weeks at BBD than they learn in all their university years.

- Link to personal code project on GitHub or similar, if you have one
Application process:
- Upload CV on BBD careers portal
- If your profile meet our criteria, we send you instruction for technical challenge
- After you complete it, test get review through marking process
- If you pass, virtual interview will be set up
- If you pass interview, offer will be made
