Overview
Imfundo Trust is Old Mutual Investment Group Scholarship and Bursary initiative that want to give funding to student with real interest in the investments industry, while also supporting transformation. Imfundo Trust Scholarship give funding for full-time undergraduate and selected postgraduate degree programme at selected university in South Africa.
Fields of Study
- Business, Commerce, Finance, and Management Sciences / Studies — first and second year in 2027
- Computer Science and related qualification (e.g. Computational Thinking) — first and second year in 2027
- Data Science — first and second year in 2027
- Climate Studies — postgraduate only
- Engineering — first and second year in 2027
Who Can Apply
- Only South African citizen will be considered
- If you going into first year in 2027, you must have achieved minimum average of 70% in mid-year Grade 12 examination, with minimum 70% in Mathematics and 70% in English FAL, or 60% in English Home Language
- Scholarship only available for student who will be in first or second year in 2027 — except for Climate Studies which is postgraduate
- If you currently in first year, you must have achieved average of 65% and above in latest examination (mid-year / June)
- Applicant from rural and township background will get preference
