Role Overview

South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is offering entry-level Grant Administrator job for person who want to start career in public service and social development. These role involve supporting administration and processing of social grant, helping client with enquiry, and making sure service delivery is accurate and efficient.

Position is good fit for recent graduate or early-career candidate, and give valuable experience inside key government agency that focus on social support programme across South Africa.

Position Title: Grant Administrators (Western Cape)
Salary: R237 453 — R279 708 per year, exclusive of benefits
Location: Khatorus Local Office — Vosloorus (Zonkezizwe): Ekurhuleni District

Responsibilities

• Give grant customer service to client
• Screen and capture application, including beneficiary maintenance function
• Administer medical booking and assessment
• Provide off-site grant application service to client
• Do scanning and batching of grant file

Requirements

Must have Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 06 or higher) in one of these field:

• Public Administration
• Commerce
• Business Administration
• Economics
• Development Studies
• Finance
• Accounting
• Social Sciences
• Social Security
• Law
• IT
