Who Can Apply
Before you apply, make sure you meet all this requirement:
- Must be South African citizen
- Must not be older than 26 years
- Must be in Grade 12 now, or already finish Grade 12
- Must be studying or planning to study full-time for first undergraduate qualification, in one of the field listed above — bursary will NOT fund second qualification
- Postgraduate funding (honours) only available for Law, Accounting (CA), Actuarial Science, and Mathematics & Statistics
- Must study or plan to study at recognised public university or university of technology — bursary will NOT fund private college
- If you in Matric, must have minimum 75% APS
- If you already at university, must have minimum 65% average on most recent result
- Bursary is for applicant whose parents earn combined household income of up to R350 000 per year
- If your parents earn between R350 000 and R600 000 per year combined, you can still apply — affordability assessment will be done as part of selection
