About Internship Industrial and Organisational Psychology 2027
This Industrial and Organisational Psychology internship is one year programme, accredited by Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). The goal is to help Industrial Psychology Masters student get skill so they can register as Industrial Psychologist (Independent Practice).
Programme cover six domain:
- Organisational psychology;
- Human resource (personnel) psychology;
- Career psychology and employee wellness/wellbeing;
- Testing and assessment;
- Elective (project); and
- Professional ethics.
Intern must complete 260 days of programme, finish all the domains, inside 12 months (1 year). Intern get two supervisor — one internal senior Industrial Psychologist from inside the company, and one external Industrial Psychologist from recognized academic institution.
During internship, intern get evaluated through logbook and quarterly report, and must add value to company and also to the Industrial Psychology industry overall.

Internship requirements:
- Must be South African citizen
- Must have strong academic performance in Honours
- Must have finish M1, or on track to finish M1 by January 2027
- Must be registered as Student Psychologist with HPCSA
- Must be based in Johannesburg from 01 February 2027 until end January 2028
