Who Are We?
Looking ahead, Sanlam Life and Savings aims to support both individual and company customers across South Africa, while sharpening its position within the local landscape. This division operates through three parts: Sanlam Corporate, Sanlam Retail Mass, and Sanlam Retail Affluent. Shaping the path forward, the Sanlam Life and Savings Office guides these groups, aligns efforts, offers backing, and oversees key processes. From this center, governance functions step in – including independent reviews – making sure each part moves steadily toward shared goals.
Matriculants and actuarial students
One hundred years ago, this work began – shaping what comes next has always been at the core. Not just tasks, but craftsmanship guides how we move through each day. Focused effort shows in every choice made. Confidence grows when support runs deep.
Actuarial Bursaries
Mastering any craft means knowing help matters just as much as skill. A person grows strong when others stand beside them. Learning comes easier with someone to guide the way. Strength in work often starts with quiet backing. True expertise leans on those who lift it up.
For this reason, support goes to those already studying Actuarial Science – whether in first, second, or third year – and also to future learners starting the course in 2027.

Change moves fast here – we keep up without hesitation. When handing out bursaries, skill matters most, though fairness guides every choice behind the scenes.
Keep in mind, every form must go through the website. Emails won’t work, nor will late entries past the deadline. If nothing arrives from us before October 1, 2026, it means we went with someone else.
