Job Overview

Clicks Group offering Shop Assistant / Cashier position. Purpose of the role is to give efficient customer service, handle till point (POS) transaction accurate, and support merchandising activity to make sure shelves stay well-stocked and look good. Through friendly service and smooth operational support, Shop Assistant Cashier help create positive and satisfying shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Do all till point work fast and correct
  • Scan item accurate, take payment correct, and action clubcard rewards when customer buy
  • Always handle cash in safe manner
  • Promote Clicks clubcard actively and get new member to join, to help store reach clubcard target
  • Tell customer about promotion so they buy more and “feel good, pay less”
  • Give excellent customer service — be visible, friendly, professional, and represent the brand well
  • Keep shelves and store clean and tidy, follow store and visual merchandise standard
  • Support company vision to be customer’s first choice for health and beauty, by living the company values
  • Know the product, range, promotion, and event well, so you give customer correct information at all time

Requirements

  • Must have Grade 12 (Essential)
  • Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level (Desirable)

Desirable / Advantageous

  • Previous experience in customer-facing role in retail or FMCG store environment
